One forty two in the morning  
and I've already lived each minute.  
That tingle of a patch of dryness  
at the back of the throat,   
the calling card for nasopharyngitis 

Taunts me, the scratch remains  
untouchable by the cool water   
in my bedside glass.

And so: I scroll quartzite reels  
Croissant lamination videos  
Double oven do’s and don’t infographics.  
  
My thumb finds me in politics:  
First:   
Take downs of Susan Dell   
and her uncanny doll-like stare  
Next:   
Defenses of Susan Dell and her philanthropy  
Then:   
Critical analyses following   
the Dell’s money  
and the president’s stock purchases   
from December 2025 to June to —

Hail Queen!  
Mrs. Rachel GRWM spoofs 

Now I'm taking notes:  
How-to capture and kill   
those infernal fruit flies   
with household materials.
