Danger

I dream of danger
Coiled snakes
with triangular heads
Hornets in mail boxes
Menacing eyes
In shadowy corners
Heart burn in
executive sessions
Cartloads of earth
tumbling atop me
Unsigned contracts
Noncompliance
Dehydration in a desert
Depletion of key resources
Misfired guns
In crowded places
I dream of danger
Which means
I do not sleep at all
