End Game

To what end
Do you win
When you crush
When you vanquish
When you destroy
When you erase

To what end
Do you prosper
When you belittle
When you carve through flesh
Tear down trust
Deter and damage
Rip away at dignity

To what end
Do you prosper
When you inject yourself
With such bitter fruits?

I hope you find
the healing you need
Because beating me up
Is not the elixir you seek.
