Power
“Power,” written April 22, poem 112 in a series of 365 poems written by Diana Ludwick in 2026. Photo, "Pushing Daisies," by Diana Ludwick (c) 2026.
What is power, really?
Is it money? Marketshare?
Positions? Possessions?
Square footage? Is it awards?
Books of business? Client lists?
Is power, then,
about control over others?
Over laws?
Over outcomes?
If this is power,
then can we reset the field?
We could turn
power into positives
to heal, to solve, to protect
to lift up, to light the way
and weave us together.
